Welcome to the St. Edith's Church, Eaton-under-Heywood Website
Eaton-under-Heywood lies at the foot of Wenlock Edge in the peaceful countryside of the South Shropshire hills, approximately 3.5 miles south-east of Church Stretton.
The parish church of St. Edith's is tucked away and almost hidden from view on the lower slopes of Wenlock Edge. It is named after an Anglo-Saxon saint and has served the local community for almost 1,000 years. The church is one of the Apedale Parishes which also includes St Peter's Rushbury, St James' Cardington and St Andrew's Hope Bowdler.
